I’ve been so invested in the 1000 Civ: Rich & Poor vid that ish made. This is the 2nd artwork I’ve doodled for this tiny fandom.
Apparently, during the event, it was proposed that Queen Jophiel of Tricolor and Emperor Schpood of Westhelm have a political marriage!!! (Of course, Jophiel’s assassination put an end to that discussion…) Had the marriage happened, the alliance between their nations would have been called TRIHELM!
I thought that sounded neat cuz, y'know—Schpood, who hates meetings and only rlly cared abt Westhelm, getting married to Jophiel, who didn’t care much for politics and wanted to focus on developing Tricolor, is a kinda cool dynamic to have. Especially for a political marriage.
So I made this quick (LIES!!!—I spent hours on this thing! I was suffering over the designs of their wedding attire! I had like 10 diff designs! AND I DREW THIS ON MY PHONE!!!) little art for Trihelm!
There’s Schpood in a toga and Jophiel in a wedding gown. They both have their crowns. And the stained glass behind them is a combination of Westhelm’s sun sigil overlying on Tricolor’s…well, tri-colored banner. (Yes, ik Tricolor’s banner had a sun, but their sun is golden. This sun is Westhelm’s black sun.)
I suck at digital coloring, so I only did grayscale. Don’t judge.
Had an intense crashout about the Trihelm union so much so that I started drafting a fic where the border drops earlier so they can actually get married and Jophiel attends the Meeting™
this post by jophiel saying there were plans for a political marriage between her and schpood (before she was assassinated) made me so insane so heres a bunch of trihelm / schphiel (?) au posting
